Bouglione Circus

Looking for a simple and convenient shopping experience in the Marais, without spending hours running from store to store? The BHV Marais is the perfect address. Here, everything is gathered in one place. Whether you are in a hurry or prefer to spend your time strolling around the neighborhood, visiting its museums or discovering its exhibitions, the BHV will meet your needs without compromise.

An institution in the heart of Paris

The history of BHV begins in 1856, when Xavier Ruel, a visionary entrepreneur, opened a small shop near theHôtel de Ville. Its philosophy? To offer quality products at affordable prices. This innovative concept was so successful that the store quickly expanded, becoming a real "Bazaar of theHôtel de Ville " During the Belle Époque, the BHV becomes a must-see place for Parisians. It spans the ages, adapting its offering and architecture to the needs of each generation, while maintaining a warm atmosphere and a family spirit. Today, BHV is an institution, both modern and rooted in the history of Paris.

Shop windows that make you dream

If you pass by rue de Rivoli, you can't miss the BHV windows. They change with the seasons and themes, but it is at Christmas that they shine the most. Each year, decorators compete in creativity to transform the windows into animated tableaux, combining lights, colors and enchanted scenes. It is a real spectacle that pleases children as much as adults, and an essential stop for any Parisian or visitor in December.

BHV Marais Paris The Hidden Table

After exploring the floors of the flagship of the BHV, a break is necessary. The Hidden Table, perched on the rooftops, remains one of my favorite options with its breathtaking view and its dishes based on local products. I talk about it in my article " My best rooftop restaurants in the Marais " But if you prefer a more relaxed setting, try les Tables Perchées, a bright and welcoming space for a quick meal or coffee with a view. They are both on the 5th floor.

" The BHV Marais, it is therefore the perfect alliance between practicality and pleasure. After your shopping, why not extend your experience by sitting on one of the lively terraces on the rue des Archives ? With a drink in hand, let yourself be seduced by the spectacle offered by the street: a real open-air fashion show! Whether you choose Les Marronniers or Le Ju', these addresses popular with the LGBTQI+ community welcome you in a warm and festive atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a moment of relaxation after your shopping trip to BHV.
